Neiman Marcus Beauty Event

So coming up the end of this month, Thursday February 23 - Sunday March 4, Neiman Marcus is having The Beauty Event.  If you purchase $100 or makeup or fragrance, you'll receive an exclusive tote full of samples.  For 11 days, they will have events for eyes, lips, foundation, skincare and fragrance.  I am not sure what this means, but I will be checking out the event at least one day so I can put you up on it.  I will most likely attend the eyes, foundation or lips events, because they work best with my schedule, so I will make sure to take photos and post for you guys so you know what its all about!

Sally’s February Sales!

So here are the highlights from Sally’s February sales paper.  I have not listed everything that is on sale, but I have included things I think are interesting and the offers I am most likely to take advantage of.

Hair Care

A good protein treatment should be a part of every hair care routine.  If you have never heard of the Aphogee 2-step protein treatment, you need to get some this month.  The balancing moisturizer is free with purchase, which makes it a great buy because you are going to need both.  I do a protein treatment like this every 2 months or so to keep my hair strong and resilient.  This product works well for all hair types especially relaxed or color-treated strands.

Makeup

If you are in the market for some brushes, try the Face Secrets brand, they are giving away their brush cleaner when you purchase two brushes.  It is important to keep your brushes clean to prevent zits, blackheads and eye infections.  They are also doing a buy 2 get 1 free with their beauty supplies.  I know I need some cotton balls and cosmetic wedges, so I may as well pick up something for free! Elsewhere in the makeup department, if you need to stock up on lashes, go buy 2 from Ardell, because you can get either the stuff to put them on or the stuff to get them off for free!

Nails
